in 1982 with 6 members. Today there are approximately 60 members.
*The North Dakota Gelbvieh Association (NDGA) sponsors the annual
"Golden Rule" sale. This sale is one of the longest running, most
successful state association sales in the nation.
*North
Dakota ranks 4th in the nation for active cows and 5th in the nation
for registered cows.
*According
to the American Gelbvieh Association (AGA), North Dakota is the most
aggressive state in the nation for promoting the Gelbvieh breed.
*NDGA
supports the North Dakota Junior Gelbvieh Association (NDJGA) with a
designated state show and scholarship fund. |
